Last night, the Deputy Grand Superintendent, EComp Jonathan Stainton-Ellis, lead the Provincial team at an official visit to Beach Chapter No 2475 at Camberley. Although the Chapter meets across the border in Surrey, it falls under the Provincial Grand Chapter of Hampshire & Isle of Wight.The main business of the evening was the Installation of the Principals Elect which was carried out in fine manner by all those involved.A cheque for £1000 was presented by the MEZ to the Deputy Grand Superintendent for this years MEGS charity, Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance.Before the team left the Chapter, EComp Jonathan presented a 40 certificate to the Chapters ADC, EComp Brian Tulip, much to the delight of the Companions present.There followed four course festive board which was enjoyed by all.In the photo, the Deputy Grand Superintendent and the Provincial team. ... Last night the Second Provincial Grand Principal EComp Chris Davis, lead the Provincial Team at an official visit to Albert Edward Chapter 1780 at Albion Place, Southampton.After taking the Sceptre from the MEZ, EComp Martin Marum, he addressed the Companions before handing the Sceptre back so the agenda could be proceeded with.The main business of the night was to rlect the three Principals for the ensuing year and conduct the historical & symbolical lectures.At the festive board, the Companions were treated to a lovely meal in excellent company.Low in numbers, but a very enjoyable evening with Albert Edward Chapter.In the photos, EComp Chris Davis with his Provincial escort, and addressing the Companions at the festive board. ... Last night (Thursday 9th February), the Duke of Connaught Chapter 1834, celebrated its Centenary with an official visit by the Most Excellent Grand Superintendent, EComp Stephen Allum and his Provincial Team.During the meeting MEGS dedicated new Principle Banners and Ensigns before rededicating the Chapter in a special ceremony which was enjoyed by all those present.After the ceremony, MEGS gave a field promotion of Past Provincial Grand Registrar to the MEZ of the Chapter, EComp Toms which was well received by the Companions.A super festive board followed with Beef Wellington, Wine and Port on the menu. At tonights meeting of Yarborough Chapter 551 at Ventnor, South Island, Bro Stephen Parkes was Exalted into Royal Arch Masonry. A superb ceremony was conducted by MEZ EComp David Richardson and his team ensuring Stephen had a warm welcome to the Chapter.Also at this meeting, the VGCO EComp Martin Banfield was surprised when he was presented his Chapter 40 year certificate by the Second Provincial Grand Principal EComp Chris David.In the first pho, the three Principals with EComps Chris Davis and Martin Banfield.
